Target Audience.

In order for  my music video, website and digi pak to be successful It needs to appeal to my target audience, after some research I have a rough outline of what my target audience would be and who my track would appeal to.


Age: The age of my target audience would be anywhere between 18-40, however I would say its mainly people who are around there twenties to thirties. 


Gender: The male gender dominates this genre and I would think my track appeals to this gender the most.


Interests: Besides listening to my track, other interests my audience may have is
painting, going to gigs, playing either the bass guitar or the drums, dressing up, getting tattoos, watching horror films etc..


In order to get some more research on my audience I asked some members of the public to answer a few questions about the type of people who would listen to my track, and if we where to create a music video to the track, what kind of things would you expect in it.


We interviewed a range of Genders and Ages to get a range of answers and for it not to be bias to one age range or gender. Here are the interviews:

This research has helped us understand what things we might include in our music video and has also gave us an insight into what kind of people would listen to our track, so we can now target them specifically in our video, website and digipak.
