This music video by Combichrist is very electronic based, and my song 'Here in the black' also has some electronic in it, this is why I have decided to look at this video, to see how their video suits the electronic vibe.
I have noticed a number of things, the first one being the lighting that they use, unlike most electronic videos, it doesn't actually feature any flashing vibrant lights, instead it uses low key lighting with spotlight it the background, I actually like this lighting and think it looks very good in the video:
This gives this video an electric feel as the beam of light looks quite alienish which suits the electro genre.
I also like this particular effect in the video as it matches to the electric beat of the music:
It kind gives the effect of a flickering light however on a person and it looks really good, it also matches the music when the music flickers.
